Course features:
This course is one of a series covering the principal religions encountered in the teaching of RE/RVE/RME across the United Kingdom. Course participants will extend their understanding of Judaism and Jewish ways of living. They will explore disciplinary ways of knowing for engaging pupils in learning about the diversity of Judaism in the UK and beyond. The session will explore data, texts and the lived experience of Jews from different streams.
This course complements the RE Today publication Investigating Jewish Worldviews, a copy of which can be purchased at the time of booking for a reduced rate should you need it. If you are a secondary NATRE member you may already have access to this publication and can book the course without the accompanying book.
