Subject Knowledge Webinars

RE Today Learning Zone

Get a full breadth of RE subject knowledge for religious and non-religious worldviews for both Primary and Secondary teachers!

In response to Ofsted's recommendation for teachers to access high-quality subject knowledge training, we know that many teachers may feel under-confident when teaching RE and feel they lack sufficient subject knowledge. In response to this, Primary and Secondary teachers can now access recordings for a series of webinars covering the UK's major religious and non-religious worldviews.

Delivered by our highly experienced advisers, these webinars:

  • Equip you with the subject knowledge that you need to plan and teach with lessons with confidence
  • Introduce essential vocabulary and concepts within each worldview tradition.
  • Look at examples of how these worldviews are lived out today
  • Offer knowledge-rich learning strategies and resources to bring these worldviews to life in the classroom
  • Offer ways of examining these worldviews through ways of knowing such as theology, philosophy and sociology.
