Who deserves a place at the table of Religion and Worldviews? (Webinar)
Date: 9 June 2022, 4-5pm
Location: Online
Trainer: Angela Hill
Cost: £30
BOOKING DEADLINE: 8 JUNE 2022
This enquiry-based session invites thinking and discussion around opening up the RE classroom to a wider range of worldviews, beyond religions and non-religious views such as atheism. We will consider fundamental questions such as whether the inclusion of a variety of ‘worldviews’ risks a loss of religious literacy. With a focus on ‘ethical veganism’ as worldview, we will critically explore practical approaches for teaching about a wider range of worldviews. First run at Strictly RE 2021, this session covers the 11-16 age range.
