People of Faith is a collection of video and text based interviews with people from six religions - Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism and Sikhism. They all talk about religious beliefs and its place in their lives.
Classroom suggestions:
a) Ask students to choose two of the people - either from the same religion or two different religions - and listen to what they have to say about their religion and its place in their lives. Ask them to note any key terms of religious language that is used, and to check they understand its meaning.
b) Provide students with a Venn diagram template and ask them to complete this for the two people whose video they have just watched, and themselves. What similarities and differences do they notice? What further questions do they now have for the two people of faith?
