NATRE launches 2012 survey on impact of EBacc on RE

Posted by: Rosemary, 19 June 2012

NATRE is conducting an online survey of teachers of RE about the impact of the EBacc on RE in secondary schools in England in 2012. The survey can be found here

NATRE’s 2011 survey,  which reflected more than 50% of all schools, was extremely influential in a wide variety of contexts.  NATRE now wants to capture the situation one year on – and the data will be crucial as NATRE continues their campaign to secure RE’s place in the curriculum of every school.

If you are reading this as a secondary RE teacher, please complete the survey, and pass the link on to colleagues in other schools. Otherwise please pass the link on to people you know who work in or support the secondary sector and encourage them to complete the survey e.g secondary teachers, ITE tutors, members of SACRE, members of local faith communities.

The deadline is 20 July 2012.

If you have any questions about the survey, please email NATRE.
