Course: Helping your pupils make sense of the world

Helping your pupils to make sense of the world is the title of new course being run by The Association for Citizenship Teaching (ACT), working with The Three Faiths Forum and Amnesty International.

Today’s pupils are growing up in a world where issues such as terrorism, justice, role of the media, human rights, truth claims, religion, torture are constantly in the news. This one-day course is designed to equip teachers to tackle these issues in the classroom with confidence.

Date & time: Wednesday 8 February 2012 9.30am - 4.00pm

Venue: St James Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester M12 6FZ
