Rosemary Rivett
Rosemary is Director of Education and leads RE Today Services’ team of specialist RE advisers.
Rosemary has written for and edited our best selling publication A Teacher’s Handbook of RE and the Developing Secondary RE series. She writes for our current primary and secondary curriculum series, and is the editor of 101 Great Ideas - a new edition of our best selling publication ‘A to Z of practical learning strategies’. She is project manager of our work with Academies and Teaching Schools, a project funded by the Jerusalem Trust, and she supports the work of a local authority through SACRE consultancy and school-focused work. She has a particular interest and expertise in developing the use of ICT to support learning in RE.
Rosemary is also Executive Officer of NATRE and in this capacity represents our teacher members in a variety of national contexts. She is also a Director of the Council for Subject Associations, and a co-opted board member of the RE Council of England and Wales.
Before working for RE Today Rosemary taught in three local authorities, leading successful RE departments and taking responsibility for a variety of cross-curricular developments.
