Joyce Mackley
Joyce has wide-ranging experience of RE in all phases. She taught in three local authorities, leading successful RE departments before being seconded as Advisory Teacher for RE, and then joining RE Today Services as director of a curriculum development project supporting spiritual development.
As an RE Adviser Joyce provides training and consultancy (inter)nationally and supports the work of RE in two local authorities through SACRE consultancy and school-focused work. She wrote for and edited the highly acclaimed primary RE curriculum series Developing Primary RE and Exploring a Theme, and is currently the editor of the new series Opening Up RE. Her previous publications include A-Z Practical Learning Strategies.
