in Religious Education, and to an accurate and fair representation of
their beliefs, values and practices in all its teaching materials. It
carries forward the work of the former Christian Education Movement (CEM).

with the termly magazine REtoday
and the British Journal
of Religious Education;
- offers professional development and consultancy services through
its professional staff;
- arranges national and regional courses
for teachers, pupils and other interested parties;
- carries out Research and Development work;
- administers the services of associated organisations:
- is regularly consulted by the Department for Education and
Skills, The Qualifications and Assessment Authority, The Teacher
Training Agency and other official bodies on issues concerning
RE.
